Source column shows who carries the code as live today. Last checked is the last date a source on our list carried that code. Nothing here was tested by redeeming it ourselves, so a code can still fail for reasons we cannot see from outside the game.

This game calls two different things a code

Before the rest of the page, one thing has to be settled, because it decides whether this page is even the one you want. In AFK Journey the word codes is used for two unrelated things:

• Redemption codes — the strings in the table above. The developer hands them out for an anniversary, a patch, a milestone or a creator promotion, and you type them into a box the game keeps inside its own settings menu. They give diamonds, gold, invite letters, and similar.
• Homestead, layout and arcane codes — share codes for the Homestead mode. These are not gifts from the developer at all. They are strings players pass to each other so that someone else can load the same decoration layout, and they are read by a different part of the game entirely.

Those two families sit side by side in the same search results, under the same four words, and they are the reason a plain list of redeem codes does not answer everybody. The player threads we follow are titled exactly like this:

“Some Homestead codes!!”

“Sharing my first arcane codes.”

“New Layout Codes”

Every one of those is a share code, not a reward. If that is what you came for, the two rows at the top of this page are not it, and no amount of looking will make them fit — the Homestead side is a different feature. What this page tracks is the first family only: strings the developer issued, which you type into the redemption box, with a status on each one. We say which family a code belongs to rather than filing them together, because a list that mixes the two looks complete and answers nobody.

The code arrives in a letter, but the box is two menus deep

The most common question about this game's codes is not “which code works”. It is “where do I type it”. A player asking it, in full:

“How to use redeem codes?”

“I havent played in forever and I got a letter from a character named Zorya with a code but I dont know how to…”

That is the shape of the problem: the game delivers a code to you unprompted, in an in-game letter from a character, and then leaves you to find the box that accepts it. The answer is one line long, and the thread was marked solved the moment somebody posted it:

“In settings go to other and once you click there is a part where it says redeem code. That's it”

So the route is Settings, then Others, then Redeem Code. It is not in the lobby, it is not on the mail screen that just handed you the code, and it is not behind any of the buttons a new player would try first. That is why a question with a one-line answer keeps being asked by people who are holding a working code at the time. The same reply ends with the part most answers leave out:

“Be sure to check online for other active codes as well!”

Which is the whole reason a table like the one above exists: the letter tells you a code exists, and nothing in the game tells you which of the others are still alive.

A second family of codes arrives by message, and deleting one ends it

Alongside the public codes there is a set of monthly ones, delivered to individual accounts rather than posted anywhere. They behave differently from everything else on this page, and the difference has bitten players who assumed a code was a code:

“I accidentally deleted both of my monthly VIP codes for 5/26. Does anyone know of a way to recover these?”

The answer given in that thread is that there is no in-game restore — the message that carried the code is the only copy you get, and once it is gone you have to ask the game's own community account directly:

“I would try to reach out to u/AfkJourney-CS directly for help recovering them”

The same thread corrects a detail that is easy to get wrong if you are working out whether a code is even yours to use. These are not tied to how much you have spent on the game:

“Not tied to vip lvl but to farlight pass lvl also, usually around vip 15 if you purchased the things using that farlight account”

So the gate is the Farlight Pass level on the account the purchase was made with, not the VIP level the number is usually read as. And the contents are fixed by the month rather than by the code, which is why they get compared to each other:

“5 stargazers in the may code, and 3000 diamonds in the international workers day code.”

None of these monthly codes appear in the table above, and that is deliberate rather than an omission. They are issued per account, they are not listed by any source we are allowed to read, and the only copy is the message in your own mailbox. If you have deleted it, no code list anywhere can put it back — the recovery route is the one quoted above.

How to redeem an AFK Journey code

The in-game route, in the order the source gives it:

1. Open AFK Journey.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Open the Others tab.
4. Find the entry that says Redeem Code.
5. Type the code from the table above into it.

Two things worth knowing before you blame the code. The reward does not always land the instant the box accepts it, so give it a moment before retyping the same string. And the codes are long and mostly random, which is what the copy button on each row above is for — retyping a mixed-case string off a screenshot is the most common way a working code gets reported as broken.

Expired AFK Journey codes

We keep expired codes instead of deleting them, because you may want to check whether you already claimed one, and because a code that reads expired here is often still printed as live on a page that was never updated. Where the source does not state an expiry date, we say so rather than guess.

The source does not publish an expiry date for its expired entries, so the column above says so rather than inventing one. These 6 are the first 6 on the source's own expired list, in the order it prints them. We have not copied its full archive — that list runs to well over a hundred strings, and a wall of long-dead codes pushes the ones that work off the first screen.

How we set a code's status

• Working — at least one source on our list carries the code as live, and none carries it as expired.
• Not verified yet — no source on the list carries it, or two of them disagree.
• Expired — a source on the list carries it as expired, and none carries it as live.

Our source list is fixed: the developer's own announcements and community channels, the in-game redemption menu, and the code pages currently ranking in front of us for this search. Nothing outside that list counts. On this page the readable source today was pockettactics.com's AFK Journey code list, opened on 29 Sep 2026; its own update line reads Sep 24, 2026.

We also opened the community wiki's redemption-code page. Unlike some of the other games we cover, this one does carry a code table — 39 entries under its own active heading — but the newest entry on it is dated May 18, 2024, which is more than ninety days before today. By our own rule, a source whose last update is older than ninety days is treated as carrying no information today: it is not counted as a second source, its list is not read as disagreeing with pockettactics.com, and no code is downgraded because of it. Ninety days is our own threshold, not a platform rule — the developer publishes no such number. The practical effect is that every row on this page names a single source rather than two, and nothing here is described as confirmed by the developer.

Last checked is the last date a source on our list carried that code, so it is not the date of our last pass — that one is in the line at the top of this page, and it is the same for every row. The date is shaded by how recent it is: near-black for today, mid grey for yesterday, lighter for two days ago, barely-there grey after that. A row whose date stops moving is a row nothing out there is listing any more.

Ten days without a source. If no source on our list carries a code for more than ten days, the row drops out of Working into Not verified yet and picks up a Likely expired note. That happens automatically, not by hand. Ten days is our own threshold — the developer publishes no such rule — and we would rather show a code as unconfirmed than keep calling it working on no evidence.
