If sources disagree, we say so.
This table has one row because there is one thing to say, and it is not a code. A blank table would look like a page we forgot to finish; a table full of guessed strings would be worse. When a code does appear it goes here the same day, with its reward and the date a source carried it. Last checked is the last date a source on our list carried that code — for a game with no codes, there is no such date, so the row says Not seen rather than borrowing a number. Nothing on this page was tested by redeeming it ourselves.
Why the global version has none, while the Japanese one does
This is the whole confusion in one paragraph. Umamusume: Pretty Derby shipped in Japan years before it launched in the West, and the Japanese client has a gift-code system that has been handing out Carats and items for a long time. The global client shipped with the code box already built in — you can open it right now — but the codes themselves have not been issued yet.
That combination — a working input box, and nothing to put in it — is exactly what produces the searches this page answers. People see the box, assume a code must exist somewhere, and start hunting. The honest answer is that the box is ready and the codes are not.
“There are currently no Umamusume: Pretty Derby codes. However, the game does have a code input system, and the Japanese version of the game also has active gift codes, suggesting that we'll get some on the worldwide server in time.”
That is pockettactics.com, the source we check for this game, on 9 Oct 2026. We are quoting it as a source, not as the developer — and it is the only source on our list that has anything to say about this game today.
Where a code will go in when one exists
Step one is not a step you can skip, and it is the step that makes people think the code box is missing:
- Open Umamusume: Pretty Derby on your mobile device or on PC.
- Play through the opening race, the concert, and the tutorial until you reach the home screen for the first time.
- Tap Menu in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to the Enter Code button.
- Paste the code into the box and confirm.
The box is not visible before the tutorial is finished. If you have just installed the game and cannot find an Enter Code button, that is almost always the reason — not a missing feature and not a bug.
There is no web redemption page for this game. A code goes in through the in-game box or nowhere, which is the same shape as Wuthering Waves and unlike Genshin Impact, where a browser route also exists.
Do not guess. This game punishes it
This is the one warning worth printing on its own. Repeatedly entering codes that do not work is not a harmless habit in Umamusume: it is reported to cost your account its ability to enter codes at all.
“While we wait for codes to appear, don't try to guess them, as incorrectly entering codes multiple times will result in your account losing code privileges.”
Same source, same day: pockettactics.com, 9 Oct 2026. We have not been able to test that claim ourselves and we are not going to pretend we did — we are passing it on because the downside is on your account, not on this page.
That single fact is why a page about a game with zero codes is still worth reading. On most games a wrong code costs you nothing but a wasted paste. Here the cost is potentially your access to codes for good.
Two other games where the box is not where you think
If you are here because you could not find an input box, these two pages are the same story with a different ending:
- Brown Dust 2 codes — an empty list right now, but the game has two routes and the website one asks for your nickname, which is where most failed redemptions come from.
- Wuthering Waves codes — the other game on this site with no web page at all, and the page explains what “code not working” usually means there.
How we set a code's status
- Working — at least one source on our list carries the code as active, and none carries it as expired.
- Not verified yet — no source on the list carries it, or two of them disagree.
- Expired — a source on the list carries it as expired, and none carries it as active.
Our source list is fixed: the developer's own announcements and community channels, community wikis, Chinese-language accounts that publish nothing but redeem codes for one game, and the code pages currently ranking in front of us for this search. Nothing outside that list counts. On this page the only readable source today was pockettactics.com, opened on 9 Oct 2026.
Last checked is the last date a source on our list carried that code, so it is not the date of our last pass — that one is in the line at the top of this page, and it is the same for every row. The date is shaded by how recent it is: near-black for today, mid grey for yesterday, lighter for two days ago, barely-there grey after that. A row whose date stops moving is a row nothing out there is listing any more.
Ten days without a source. If no source on our list carries a code for more than ten days, the row drops out of Working into Not verified yet and picks up a Likely expired note. That happens automatically, not by hand. Ten days is our own threshold — the developer publishes no such rule — and we would rather show a code as unconfirmed than keep calling it working on no evidence.
Frequently asked questions
Are there any Umamusume codes right now?
Not on the global server. The one source we can read for this game states outright that there are currently no Umamusume: Pretty Derby codes, as of 9 Oct 2026. The code box exists in the game, but nothing has been issued to put in it.
What was the last Umamusume code, and when did it work?
We do not know, and we are not going to make a date up. Our source says there are no codes at present, but it does not state when the previous one stopped working — and no other source on our list carries a date either. A blank is the honest answer here.
Where is the Enter Code button?
Tap Menu in the top right of the home screen and scroll down. If it is not there, you have not finished the opening race, the concert, and the tutorial yet — the box only appears after the home screen is reached for the first time.
Can I redeem Umamusume codes on a website?
No. There is no web redemption page. A code goes in through the in-game box only, on mobile or on PC. This is the same shape as Wuthering Waves, and different from Genshin Impact, which has a browser route as well.
Is it safe to try a code I found somewhere?
No — and on this game specifically, it can cost you. The source we check warns that entering incorrect codes repeatedly can result in your account losing code privileges. Wait for a code you can trace to a real source rather than testing a guess.
Why does the Japanese version have codes and mine does not?
The Japanese client shipped years earlier and has had a gift-code system running for a long time. The global client shipped with the input box already built in, but codes have not been issued for the worldwide server yet. The box being present is not a sign that a code is out there.
Will new Umamusume codes be added here when they exist?
Yes, the same day. This page is re-checked once a day, and the table at the top takes the code with its reward and the date a source carried it. There is no fixed schedule, which is why the date on each row matters more than the length of the list.
