Three dated pages, three separate lists, and exactly two strings all three still carry as live. Everything else that any list calls active is in the next table, with the disagreement printed.

If sources disagree, we say so — including when the disagreement is inside a single page, which happens twice in the table below.

Working on this page means one thing: a page on our list, dated inside the last ninety days, carries the code as active and no page on the list carries it as expired. It does not mean we typed it into an account — we do not redeem codes. Every row on this page was read on 24 Oct 2026.

The ten codes a four-day-old list still calls active

Every string in this table is printed as active by at least one page on our list and as expired by at least one other. Eight of them moved in a four-day window: they sat in pocketgamer.com’s active block when that page was re-dated on 18 Oct 2026, and they are in pockettactics.com’s expired block on 22 Oct 2026. The other two disagree in the opposite direction — the older list has them dead and a newer one has them alive.

Two of these are worth reading twice, because the disagreement is not between pages at all. GOTOURKALOS appears twice on pocketgamer.com’s own page: once in its “Active Pokémon Go codes” block, and once as the first entry of its expired list. And LEGOxPOKEMONGOxCAP is printed as active with its own expiry written in the same line — “(expires October 1st)” — on a page re-dated 18 Oct 2026, seventeen days after that date. A list that contradicts itself in one line is not a source we can overrule with a vote, so both rows sit in Not verified yet and the contradiction is printed where you can check it.

Two things go in the same box, and only one of them is on this page

The official redemption page settles something the code lists never mention: the same sign-in box takes both kinds. Its own wording is “Sign in with your Pokémon GO account to redeem offer or gift card codes”. An offer code is what this page tracks — items, outfits, timed research. A gift card code pays PokéCoins. A spent gift card code and a dead offer code are refused the same way, which is why “it says invalid” on its own is not evidence that a list is wrong about a code.

The second confusion is ownership. Two of the three pages we read cross-link, from the middle of their Pokémon GO list, to codes for other Pokémon products — pockettactics.com sends readers to Pokémon Z-A Mystery Gift codes and Pokémon TCG Pocket codes. Those are different games with different redemption pages, and nothing printed for them works at store.pokemongo.com/offer-redemption.

How to redeem a Pokémon GO code

The developer’s own article, Redeeming Pokémon GO Offer Codes, gives four steps and no in-app route at all:

1. Visit https://store.pokemongo.com/offer-redemption.
2. Log in using the same credentials you use to access your Pokémon GO account.
3. Enter your offer code.
4. After a successful redemption, “a message will display the items added to your inventory”.

Two details on that page are worth more than the steps. The button before login reads “Sign in to Redeem”, so there is no anonymous code box to try. And the page stamp we read on 24 Oct 2026 says “Last Updated: 64d” — a relative stamp, not a date, so we quote it rather than convert it. The same help centre’s footer reads “© 2012-2026 Scopely Explore (fka Niantic)”, which is why lists still telling you to use the “Niantic Offer Redemption page” are not wrong about the address, only about the company.

On the in-app route the lists split. pocketgamer.com states flatly that you “cannot actually redeem these promo codes through the app itself on iOS devices” and sends iOS users to the web page, then adds that Android players can enter a code on the phone — Poké Ball button, Shop, then “at the bottom of the screen, there is a text field”. pockettactics.com describes the web route only (“sign in to the official website, enter your promo code, push Submit”), and beebom.com likewise ends at “click on Apply”. We could not test either route without an account, so both are printed as the sources state them.

One more official line that explains a whole category of “it does not work for my child”: “By default, Kids at Scopely Explore accounts cannot interact with sponsored content, including redeeming sponsored offers”, and a parent has to grant the Sponsored Content permission before the code will go through. No code list we read mentions it.

Expired Pokémon GO codes

106 strings that a page on our list files as expired and no page on our list carries as active. This is the whole dead list of the three dated pages, merged and de-duplicated: pockettactics.com prints 82 distinct strings in its expired block, pocketgamer.com prints 96, beebom.com prints 59, and the union is what you see here. Where the same code appears in two or three lists it is one row, and the Source column names every page that files it dead. Rewards are printed only where a page we read actually prints one — eight rows have one, the rest say so instead of guessing. No page on our list states an end date for any of these, so “Expired on” says that rather than inventing a date. They stay on the page because a code that has stopped working is more useful to a reader than one that quietly vanished from a list.

Two blocks were deliberately not counted as expired. pocketgamer.com has a “Possibly expired” heading and a “codes for Poke Coins” heading whose own text says “some of them may have expired”; a “possibly” is not a verdict, so those strings only appear here when a second page also files them dead. Four were left out for that reason and are not printed anywhere on this page.

Why a Pokémon GO code gets refused

Five reasons, and only one of them is about the code being old.

• It was one-time use and somebody used it. The official article says these come from “a limited supply of one-time use codes”. A single-use code that has been claimed is dead for everyone else, and it dies the moment it is claimed rather than on a date a list could print.
• The account is a child account without sponsored-content permission. The same help centre says Kids accounts “cannot interact with sponsored content, including redeeming sponsored offers” until a parent grants it.
• You pasted a gift card code, or an offer code into a gift card field. Both go in one box per the official wording, but they pay different things — items versus PokéCoins — and a spent gift card looks exactly like an expired offer code.
• The list you used was four days behind. This is measurable, not a hunch: eight strings were in pocketgamer.com’s active block on 18 Oct 2026 and in pockettactics.com’s expired block on 22 Oct 2026. A list never announces that it stopped being right.
• It is a code for a different Pokémon game. Z-A Mystery Gift codes and Pokémon TCG Pocket codes are printed on separate pages by the same sites, and neither works at the offer-redemption page.

One thing worth stating plainly, because the search is full of it: a code cannot give you PokéCoins unless it is a gift card code. The offer-code article lists what offer codes pay — “items such as Poké Balls, Lure Modules, Lucky Eggs, and more” — and PokéCoins are bought in the web store or the app. A page advertising an offer code that pays PokéCoins is describing something the developer’s own article does not.

What four days did to this list

The most useful thing we found today is not a code, it is the arithmetic. Across the three dated pages there are 118 distinct strings worth printing: 2 live, 10 disputed and 106 expired. The three pages disagree about the live end far more than about the dead end — they agree on almost the whole expired list and split on nearly everything recent, which is the opposite of what a reader expects.

The live counts tell the same story from three angles: 3 on pockettactics.com (22 Oct 2026), 11 on pocketgamer.com (18 Oct 2026), 3 on beebom.com (2 Oct 2026) — and the two lists that both say “3” do not agree on which three, because beebom.com still counts FENDIxFRGMTxPOKEMON as new while the other two file it expired. Only two strings survive all three lists.

One page we opened is technically alive and completely useless: the IGN wiki page for this search still carries the title “Pokémon Go Codes April 2023” and its own structured data says dateModified 2023-04-14 — 1,289 days before this check. It is named in the method below and it decides no row on this page. That is the ninety-day rule doing its job: an undated or ancient list is not evidence, however high it ranks.

Same rules, other games

• Roblox promo codes — the one where the live list is one shoulder pet, and where the two biggest lists in that search are now directories of per-game codes rather than promo codes at all.
• Call of Duty redeem codes — the one where three different pages take three different kinds of code, and where the format alone gives away a fake.
• Dragon Ball Legends codes — only two codes are live, one of them states it ends the day we checked.
• Solo Leveling: Arise codes — the official redemption form asks for two different codes: your member code first, then the coupon code.
• Monopoly GO codes — the one where the “codes” are links, and a link that has been used once is dead for everyone.
• Genshin Impact codes — the main list, with every live code and its status.

How we set a code’s status

• Working — at least one source on our list carries the code as active, and none carries it as expired.
• Not verified yet — no source on the list carries it, or two of them disagree.
• Expired — a source on the list carries it as expired, and none carries it as active.

All ten rows in the disputed table are running on the second bullet and would have been called Working by a page that only counted the newest list. No row on this page was decided by our opinion of a code.

Our source list is fixed: the developer’s own announcements and redemption pages, community wikis, accounts that publish nothing but redeem codes for one game, and the code pages currently ranking in front of us for this search. Nothing outside that list counts. On 24 Oct 2026 the pages we opened were store.pokemongo.com/offer-redemption and the help-centre article Redeeming Pokémon GO Offer Codes (the developer, and neither carries a code list), pockettactics.com (updated 22 Oct 2026), pocketgamer.com (18 Oct 2026), beebom.com (2 Oct 2026) and the IGN wiki page dated 14 Apr 2023. Only the first two are the developer, so every code in the tables is third-party sourced and the rows say so.

Eleven pages we wanted were not available. eurogamer.net’s promo-code page, sportskeeda.com’s Pokémon GO codes page and progameguides.com’s equivalent all answered 403. 404 came back from pcgamesn.com on two paths (/pokemon-go/promo-codes and /pokemon-go/codes), gamesradar.com on two paths, dexerto.com on two paths, pokemongohub.net/post/guide/pokemon-go-promo-codes, androidauthority.com, digitaltrends.com, ggrecon.com, pcinvasion.com and games.gg — plus the old Niantic help-centre article on this exact subject, which now 404s after the move to Scopely’s help centre. Three more (gamerant.com, dualshockers.com, thegamer.com) failed at the connection level and returned nothing to read. One page answered 200 and was still unusable: ginx.tv’s Pokémon GO hub renders “No articles found” with no list on it. None of those absences is filled in from memory: a code we could not read on a page today is a code that is not on this page.

Ninety days. A source whose own last update is more than ninety days old is treated as carrying no information today. Ninety days is our own threshold — neither Scopely nor Nintendo publishes such a rule. That is why the IGN page (1,289 days) is named above and never decides a row.

Last checked is the date we last ran this page against its sources, so it is not the date a code was issued and not the date of a source’s last edit. The date is shaded by how recent it is: near-black for today, mid grey for yesterday, lighter for two days ago, barely-there grey after that. A row whose date stops moving for more than ten days is downgraded automatically and marked Likely expired — that rule runs on the date column, not on our opinion.

We do not redeem codes ourselves. Every status on this page is read from a source, never from an account we control. Codes can stop working at any time, and a single-use code may already have been claimed on somebody else’s account before you see it.
